Here at NBC, we know that training up a child in the way that he should go (Proverbs 22:6a) is important. We want to come along side families to facilitate a growing love for our Savior. How do we do that? NBC provides weekly and annual activities especial for children, birth to 5th grade to reinforce discussions at home.
A Typical Sunday Morning
On a Sunday morning, classes for birth through 5th grade are available at 9 a.m. Family members will check in with a Children's Ministry Team greeter in the Education Wing off of the Fellowship Hall to sign their children into their rooms. Children will participate in age appropriate lessons with songs, stories, and activities. At 9:45 a.m., Children's Ministry Team teachers will take children from 3 yrs to 5th grade into the sanctuary to experience a time of corporate worship. (Children birth through 2 years will stay in their room.) Children can stay with their group or join their families. There is a special time for children during the worship service. After the Children's Sermon, preschool through 3rd graders will go back to their class to complete theirlesson. Children in 4th and 5th grade typically stay with their families through the remainder of service.
